About Me
My name is Garrett Monroe, I was born in Fort Worth Texas in 1991. I grew up just south of Fort Worth in a small town called Burleson. I graduated from Burleson High School in 2009, after high school I attended Texas Wesleyan University and graduated in May of 2014. I worked in the insurance field for a year after graduation before getting my job at Greiner Middle School where I have taught for the past three years. While I've been at Greiner I have been involved in planning and implementing EdTech Professional Development Sessions. I hope you can find some useful tools by browsing my page! So go ahead and jump in! On a more personal note, there a few things that I love in this world outside of EdTech. First and foremost I love my family - I wouldn’t be where I am today without their love (tough love included) and support. My 3 dogs Banjo, Marty, and Riley. My love for cooking and exploring new places to eat around dallas (Check out my instagram: @servingdallasdishes) and my love for gardening. Most importantly, I love my partner and my best friend, Scott. His support has been invaluable to my success, his sense of humor, his kindness, his intelligence, and his willingness to challenge me to be a better version of myself every day has driven me to pursue and achieve my dreams. |
